WebThe Scottish Birth Record (SBR) is a web-based system developed on the NHSNet. It records all births in Scotland. The SBR started collecting data in 2002 and has now been rolled out throughout Scotland. The SBR is an incremental record collected as close to real time as possible by various members of staff. WebInformation on live births is presented over time, by deprivation category, age group, maternal smoking, gestation and method of delivery.
